Truth to be told though, I'm not a huge fan of Pinkamena...I get why people want to preserve Pinkie's innocence by creating some alter ago, but as I read Cupcakes, the most disturbing thing about the fiction was how Pinkie was so completely indifferent about the whole thing. She didn't do it because she was evil or held some kind of grudge, she did it because that's what she does, making cupcakes, and this time the main ingredient just happened to be her best friend. "I'm just gonna chop you up into little pieces and make confectionery out of you; we're still best friends, right?" That's what made the story so creepy and enjoyable. Making her evil sorta subtracts from the whole shock value thing; it's more interesting if she has no actual reason for doing what she does.
